Eminem - Marshall Bruce Mathers III

Eminem was born as Marshall Bruce Mathers III on October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph Mo. He had parents named Deborah "Debbie" Mathers-Briggs and Marshall Mathers Jr., although his father was ignoring his family when Eminem was still a baby. Marshall then began performing at age 14, and soon created the rap name M & M, which he later changed his name to wrestle Eminem. Eminem hip hop and Rap music since a young age, he began performing since the age of 13 years with his group, Soul Intent (1995). Although he faced a tremendous challenge in the Detroit hip-hop world because of the color of his skin, he decided that the best way collect revenue is proving its ability to deal with other rappers in clubs. It takes a long time, but at eventually became the popular attraction at the club where he performed.

Eminem was discovered by Dr. Dre when he won second place in the Rap Olympics MC. In 1997, Marshall released "The Slim Shady LP Demo." Rap artist and producer Dr. Dre Marshall heard a demo copy and agree to sign the record after Marshall came for the second time in reestyle battle rap with MC Juice.

In 1999, Marshall released "The Slim Shady LP" on Interscope and get three platinum. This became the beginning of the controversy of the lyrics Marshall which often contains a message of violence.

In May 2000, Marshall released "The Marshall Mathers LP" and sold six million copies. Several singles became hits album, "The Real Slim Shady," "Stan" and "The Way I Am."

The first successful album, Eminem's The Slim Shady LP (1999), following the subsequent albums, The Marshall Mathers LP (2000), The Eminem Show (2002), Music From And Inspired By The Motion Picture 8 Mile (2002), Encore ( 2004), Curtain Call: The Hits (2005), Eminem Presents The Re-Up (2006) and Eminem's fifth studio album (2007).

Eminem has repeatedly become a figure of controversy, with critics concerned that the attacks are considered full lyrics of the people close to the violence and anti-homosexual. Eminem's lyrics are not always maintain to be taken seriously, therefore he did not have a problem with a woman or a homosexual.

At the prestigious MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS 2010 which was held on 12 September 2010, Eminem won two awards, namely Best Male Video and Best Hip Hop Video for his song titled Not Afraid.
