The jazz singer and American actress - Norah Jones

Norah Jones was born March 30, 1979 in New York City is the jazz singer and American actress. Get some awards that is, the album Come away with me (2002) awarded the diamond (10x Platinum) (USA), 20 million copies (worldwide). Album feels like home (2004) 4x Platinum (U.S.), 14 million copies (the entire world). Album Not too late (2007) 2x Platinum (U.S.), 5 million copies (worldwide). In 2002, also played in the film Two Weeks Notice tells the story as his own self. My blueberry nights and movie that directed by Wong kar wai.album his fifth, titled '... Featuring' at the beginning of the end of years ago. A concept album compiling a duet between himself and various artists musicians. Norah Jones doing collaborations with artists and caliber veteran musicians from various genres. The other differentiator is the album is consistently giving the concept of 'featuring' until the entire composition of the songs on this album was completely done with the concept of collaboration both between Norah with guest musicians artists or vice versa. The concept of the compilation album this time is different and very rarely performed by artists other musicians, where Norah collect a number of compositions in which he himself was invited as a duet by the artist couple of other musicians into their album. Not only that she also includes her duet with Dolly Parton's compositions in 'Creepin' In 'which is on the album' Feels Like Home '. In fact he also inserted a number of songs that he appear in concert with other musicians to collaborate with artists such as 'Loretta' where Norah collaborate with Gillian Welch & David Rawlings in 2004. So what did Norah is like to provide convenience for the fans to come enjoy the pieces of his works are scattered in a number of other artist's albums as a whole, including the ever contained or not in the arrangement of the song his own albums into one complete album . So do not be surprised if in several vocal compositions Norah Jones feels like a background vocal that still gives a strong impression rather than a collaborative duet of 'marriage', as we enjoy in 'Virginia Moon' where he appeared in an album titled Foo Fighter ' In Your Honor '. But the cohesive feel of a romantic duet 'marriage' we can also feel in 'Baby It's Cold Outside' where Norah became a duet partner Willie Nelson on his album 'American Classic'.

Indeed if you look into the trace discography of a musician named Norah Jones, we'll see the evolution of his music from the beginning that made known by the nickname of the new stars of jazz nuances that he later played with shades of folk in the album 'The Fall'. But through the album '... Featuring' we will only find the ability and versatilitas a Norah Jones in adapting the various genres of music, without losing the feel of Lullaby that became his trademark. He not only qualified steady jazzy nuances in the 'Court & Spark "with Herbie Hencock, Norah also able to bring the feel of country blues through' Love Me 'by The Little Willies until a more condensed with common folk pop of Belle & Sebastian. The ability of interpretation seemed to blend with the feel of soulful, with Outkast or hip-hop style Talib Kwali. Compilation album this time it sounded like music from a library treasure Norah Jones-deserved entry in the list of our music collection.

  3. Norah is easy on the eyes, and easy on the ears. Her voice is like a siren, and I am a huge fan of her, even though 'smooth jazz' is generally pussy-music. She made a fan out of me.
